About Me
If you know me personally, you’ll know my love and passion for India runs deep. My great-grandfather and grandfather were born there, and although I felt that connection from a young age — the colours, the culture, the joy — it wasn’t until I grew older that I truly began to appreciate the rich heritage already rooted in me.
As a child, I was mesmerised by India in my own little ways. I would collect wooden elephants from a local Indian shop, completely captivated by their colours, textures and the warm, aromatic air that greeted you as you stepped inside. That burst of brightness and excitement has never left me.
In 2024, I finally travelled to India with my father to explore our family heritage together. It became a powerful, eye-opening journey — humbling, inspiring and full of energy — and I came home carrying that spirit with me.
After welcoming my last child at the end of 2024 and completing my family, I knew it was time to share that passion in a way others could enjoy — not only in my home or my cooking, but through pieces that bring colour, craft and culture into everyday life.
Block printing became my outlet. This extraordinary craft is passed down through generations, with artisans spending hours designing and hand-carving each block. Every rhythmic thud of wood against fabric forms another perfect detail — a process that demands patience, timing and an exceptional eye for colour.
Today, I’m fortunate to work with a small team of 20 skilled artisans in Jaipur who bring every product to life by hand — from carving blocks to stitching tassels — making each piece genuinely one-of-a-kind. I produce in small batches and ensure no fabric is ever wasted, because sustainability matters more to me than mass production.
I hope you love this collection as much as I do.
