About Me

For as long as I can remember, two things have shaped who I am: horses and India.

If you know me personally, you’ll know that horses have always been a huge part of my life. The countryside, early mornings at the yard, and the quiet connection between horse and rider continue to inspire me every day. Alongside that has been an equally deep love for India. My great-grandfather and grandfather were born there, and although I felt that connection from a young age through its colours, culture and warmth, it wasn’t until I grew older that I truly began to appreciate the rich heritage already rooted in me.

As a child, I was mesmerised by India in my own little ways. I would collect wooden elephants from a local Indian shop, completely captivated by their colours, textures and the warm, aromatic air that greeted you as you stepped inside. That feeling of creativity and wonder has stayed with me ever since.

In 2024, I travelled to India with my father to explore our family heritage together. It was a deeply moving journey that opened my eyes to the incredible craftsmanship, traditions and artistry that have been passed down through generations. I returned home inspired and determined to celebrate those skills through my own work.

After welcoming my youngest child at the end of 2024 and completing my family, I knew it was time to bring together the things I love most. Horses have always been my constant, and India has always felt like part of my identity. Colours of Clementine is where those two worlds meet.

Block printing became the perfect way to tell that story. This extraordinary craft is passed down through generations, with artisans spending hours hand-carving each wooden block before printing every design by hand. Every rhythmic press of the block creates another unique impression, requiring patience, precision and an exceptional eye for detail.

Today, I’m proud to work with a small team of around 20 skilled artisans in Jaipur who bring every piece to life by hand—from carving the blocks to stitching the finishing details. Every collection is produced in small batches, with sustainability at its heart and a commitment to using fabric thoughtfully rather than producing in excess.

My collections are inspired by the beauty of British equestrian life and handcrafted using traditional Indian techniques, celebrating heritage, craftsmanship and timeless design.
